An Invitation...
To check out St. Pius' Youth ministry program

What is Youth Ministry?
It's a chance for you to hang out and have fun with friends in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. Weekly events will be planned by YOU, and will mainly take place Sunday afternoons or early evenings.

Is it the same as the Parish School of Religion...or Church?
No, but Youth Ministry (or Youth Group) is another component of the Catholic Church. When you're involved in Youth Group, you have the opportunity to do many different things. We offer lots of fun activities, service work, leadership training, and of course worship experiences.

Who belongs to Youth Group?
Any student in grades 9-12 that belongs to St. Pius parish is eligible.

Can I bring a friend even if they don't go to St. Pius?
YES! If your friend is in grade 9 - 12 they are welcome to attend the weekly events.

Is there a membership fee?
NO! There is no membership fee. Some activities may have a separate fee, but generally everything is free.

How do I get involved?
Just show up! Watch your newsletters and the church bulletin for a schedule of activities. You are welcome any and every time! For special events, registration may be necessary.

Any other questions? Call Judie @ 864-3505. Make sure you check out our calendar of events. Hope to see you soon!!!!

You can make your creation in Notepad and send the file, or create it directly in your e-mail. Send yours in now to ©l@®Kê and they'll be put up as quickly as possible.

Mission Statement

The Office of Youth Ministry at St. Pius X Parish provides programs and resources to assist the high school aged parishioners to grow and mature in their faith, understanding, and love of God and to be of service to the parish and the community at large. "Christ In Action" is composed of it's members and team - youth and adult leaders. The programs are both social (community building) and spiritual (faith Building) in nature. Our mission statement : "We are an organization of young adults who want to have Christ in our lives and to have fun in the process. We want to be a safety net for our peers within the parish. We are committed to strengthening our relationship with Jesus and learning to live our faith as adults."
