Prayer Line |
A PRAYER
LINE WILL BE FORMING IN THE PARISH to provide parishioners two
distinct opportunities: First, to actively participate in praying
for the specific needs of our parish family and secondly, to give
parishioners a means by which their prayer request can reach members
of the parish community. Right now we are only interested in hearing
from any person willing to become a part of the prayer line to
pray for another’s needs. Please contract Leah Kelly at
614-866-2859 with your interest in this ministry. I will want
to know your name, phone number and e-mail address (if applicable)
to begin this ministry. Continue to watch the bulletin for additional
information regarding this new program. We all know how the power
of prayer can affect our lives. Hopefully, the initiation of this
prayer line will positively affect our parish community and bring
us closer to becoming One Body in Christ. |

School
Volunteers Needed |
PLEASE
HELP US KEEP ST PIUS X SCHOOL A SAFE PLACE…Front desk volunteers
are desperately needed at school every day that school is open.
You will be asked to greet visitors, instruct them to sign in
when they arrive, and direct them to their destination. This not
only facilitates a welcoming atmosphere at our school, but it
also helps secure the school in that it prevents people from wandering
around the building unsupervised. Please help our children in
this way by signing up at the front desk at school on the calendars
provided there. There are two shifts: 8-11:30 a.m. and 11:30-2:30
p.m. In order to be eligible to help, you will need to have fingerprinting
done, the cost of which will be reimbursed to senior citizens,
and Protecting God’s Children. You can check for sessions
of this Diocesan program and register online at the website: www.colsdioc.org.
If you have any questions, please call the school office or Barbara
Bolger at 861-0982. |
