Roman Catholic Community
— St. Pius X (SPX) Catholic Parish was founded in 1958 and serves a worshipping community of approximately 3,000 Roman Catholic families in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, as well as parts of eastside Columbus, Pataskala and Pickerington, Ohio. The parish has a K-8 school located at 1061 Waggoner Road with an enrollment of approximately 600 students that provides a well-balanced and academically challenging curriculum in a value-laden environment with daily religious education. It's preschool, St. Pius X Children's Center, located at 1067 Waggoner Road, provides a warm and loving environment for children ages 3 - 5 and offers a Pre-Kindergarten Enrichment program to help prepare youngsters for that big step to kindergarten. For those children who attend our local Reynoldsburg public school system, SPX operates a Parish School of Religion (PSR) which provides religious education classes from levels K-8 currently on Sunday evenings.

Our Festival — Our annual festival was started in 1996 to help raise necessary funds to support out parish mission in a way that would involve and build our community. The festival needs about 450-500 volunteers annually to operate and depends on the generosity of businesses and sponsors to help us meet our financial goals. The needs of the parish are great as we, like a household, are primarily self-sustaining and are subject to downturns in the economy. The festival helps us meet our Christian objectives within the larger community of Reynoldsburg.

Worship and Outreach at SPX — Opportunities abound to join in worship and community as a member of SPX. SPX has a strong High School Youth Ministry that regularly participates in the National Catholic Youth Conference, a wonderful daily latchkey program for SPX students, ministry to shut-ins and the sick, adult scripture study and faith formation, and an active Senior Fellowship Group. We enjoy amazing music weekly as part of our liturgical celebrations that is as varied as the musicians who share their talent: our traditional Adult Choir; two contemporary guitar ensembles, Joy in the Morning and New Creation; our Children's Choir; and our newest group, Merging Spirits, open to 7th graders through adults and connected with our High School Youth Ministry. Come celebrate the Lord's greatness with us.
