Mission
Statement. As the Parish Council we are called
by God, and the people of St. Pius X, to be prophets to the parish
and the larger community. Therefore, as faithful witnesses to
the Gospel and our Catholic tradition, we are committed to service
by discerning the community's present needs and envisioning its
future.
Who are we and what
do we do? Our 13-20 member council is comprised
of a diverse group of faith-based Catholics who are committed
to improving the overall parish environment. In late summer, we
kickoff our year with a one-day retreat that includes teambuilding,
spiritual reflection and discernment of several important goals
for the upcoming year; subcommittees are formed to create and
develop specific and measurable actions plans. Parish Council
has a business meeting the first Monday of each month to assess
the progress on our goals, as well as discuss other key events
impacting our parish.
In the spring, we assess our future Parish Council
member needs and review new Parish Council member applications.
Upon completion of the review process, the Parish Council President-Elect
will contact those selected to serve as future parish council
members and ask those not selected to reconsider in future years
as our needs are ever-changing. Please take a few minutes to complete
the application form so we can better inform current Parish Council
members of your qualifications. Thank you.
There are two ways to complete your application, fill in the
form below and click "Submit Form" or print a copy and
email or mail it to us. To print a copy follow this link: Parish
